With respect to confidentiality and privacy of individuals and organizations, the following privacy policies are followed.
Comments – any comments provided by participants will remain confidential unless their express consent is given.
Sharing participant information – Participant information will only be shared with the CE approval bodies. Participants will be asked to have their name visible during the Zoom presentation to record attendance, but no other information will be shared.
Length of Data Storage – Participant data will be kept for 3 years, as required by Continuing Education bodies. Credit card information is not stored. Email addresses will be retained, if permission is provided and names will be removed from this list, if requested.
Any information that is held in paper format will be held in a locked filing cabinet, in a locked office, in locked suite. Any digital information will be stored on one of Dr. Smith’s computers, which are password protected and have antivirus/antispyware software/firewalls.
Program attendees can access the recordings of presentations through a program requiring username/passwords that are unique to each attendee.
