Purpose:
This attendance policy outlines the requirements and expectations for participants attending Continuing Education (CE) courses provided by Dr. Allyson Smith. The policy aims to maintain the integrity and standards of our CE programs and ensure compliance with accrediting bodies.
Eligibility:
Only individuals who meet the following criteria are eligible to earn CE credits through our programs:
- Licensed psychologists or other mental health professionals.
- Participants who have registered for the course and paid the required fees.
Attendance Requirements:
To earn CE credits, participants must adhere to the following requirements:
- Attend the entire course, including all scheduled sessions, breaks, and activities.
- Sign in at the beginning and sign out at the end of each session.
- Complete and submit any required course evaluations or assessments.
- Comply with any additional requirements specified for the particular course.
Partial attendance will not be eligible for CE credits. It is the responsibility of the participant to plan their schedule accordingly to ensure full attendance. If participants are not available for live attendance, they will have access to the recorded videos.
Late Arrival and Early Departure:
Participants who arrive late to a session or leave early will not receive CE credits. It is the responsibility of the participant to plan their schedule accordingly to ensure full attendance. If participants cannot attend live, they will have access to the recorded presentation.
Certificates of Attendance:
Certificates of Attendance will be provided to participants upon successful completion of the course. These certificates will indicate the number of CE credits earned based on full attendance and successful completion of course evaluations or assessments.
Non-Compliance:
Participants who do not meet the attendance requirements or fail to fulfill any other course-specific requirements will not be eligible to receive CE credits for the course. Dr. Allyson Smith reserves the right to deny CE credit to any participant in violation of this policy.
Complaints Procedure:
Participants who have concerns or grievances related to the attendance policy or CE credit issuance should refer to our Complaints Procedure below for resolution procedures.
Modifications:
Dr. Allyson Smith reserves the right to modify this attendance policy as necessary to comply with changing accreditation standards or improve program quality. Any changes will be communicated to participants in advance.
